I'm gonna say it...HELP!
* MY HOUSE IS BURNING DOWN! Okay for some reason, my screen is super bright. Yes, I went into settings, and I turned down the brightness, but not much changed. I think the problem has something to do with the colors. Everything looks like a badly colored version of a 40's movie, if you know what I mean. Ideas?

Okay you have to find a black shirt and drape it over the screen. It should filter through, and be less bright

Water down some black house paint and put a thin coat over your monitor
That should definitely do the trick
