A really scary story! O.O
(BTW this is just for a joke)
16-year-old Alex Rich was an ordinary boy, walking home from school. He had had a good day. His friends were cool and kind, bullies ignored him because he was clever with his words, and his teachers loved him because he always did the extra credit problems - correctly.
Alex was particularly happy that day because he had asked out a really pretty, kind girl, and she had said yes! They would be going to a fancy restaurant on Friday.
Alex was so happy, he started whistling. Nothing could go wrong now!
Suddenly, he heard a twig snap.
Alex turned around slowly. There was nothing. The streets were completely devoid of life. There was no sound; not even the wind.
Alex had a very strange feeling that he was being watched. He cautiously started to whistle again, and kept walking.
Snap. Another twig. The bushes near Alex rustled. He turned suddenly, hoping to catch whichever one of his friends was playing a prank on him. There was no-one there.
He kept walking, this time not even whistling. He kept walking until he heard footsteps behind him.
He started to run, but whatever was behind him was getting closer...and closer...
Then the footsteps stopped. Alex looked around, left and right, but nothing was there.
Then Alex felt something tugging at his jeans.
He stopped short and turned slowly. He looked down at a horrible...
frightening...
pertifying...
adorable...
KITTEN.
It stared up at him with its huge eyes and looked into his VERY SOUL. Alex wanted to scream, but the sound caught in his throat.
The kitten backed up, crouched down, and MEWED. The sound echoed throughout the streets.
A rumbling sound started...first it was dull, then it got louder and louder...
UNTIL A WAVE OF PUPPIES WAS UPON HIM!
Alex tried to run, but the wave was faster. It overcame him in a rush of adorableness! Alex finally found his scream, but too late. He had become...ONE OF THEM.
So remember...never walk alone. Never whistle a happy tune. OR THEY MIGHT GET YOU AND MAKE YOU ONE OF THEM!!!!
Heed my warning!
Happy Halloween, children...muahahahahahaha!!
OMG I'm gonna have nightmares after writing that! O.O xD

True. But happy tunes make the world go 'round. I don't think I can avoid singing happy tunes all my life to avoid the kittens and puppies. ^^
Ah, you know, this story reminds me of a Goosebumps TV episode where everyone turned into dogs. Not really a scary episode, I guess, unless if you consider that you've lost your life as a human being.
