Okay heres the deal. im having this isue.
Point number ono:
I see people bumping topics every half hour, even when Scratch team has told them to do it only twice a day. This is ruining other peoples chances for views. How would you like it if your topic for a great project got knocked off 10 mins after you posted it? Its not a great feeling for new scratchers or for ones who have been here. So please dont bump rapidly. Please do not do this.
Point number dose:
Some people think they can get out of this issue by making other topics that are for the same thing but with different titles like "Comon this needs more views!" And then you see it has 2 hundred views. Or they just whant f more views. People should not do that, again ruining peoples chance at views or front page by cluttering it up. Please do not do this
MAIN POINT:
You should only bump twice a day (im changing my old way of every 3-4 hours)
This gives more people views.
Dont make duplicate topics; clutters things up
If you whant the name changed, report yourself and ask the mods to change it.
What this wil do:
It will make more views for new scratchers and other scratchers.
Less reporting and less more for Mods to use to get to the big fourm issues
Happier and satified scratchers.

I don't think this will attract much flaming, to answer your question, since it is similar to mine but you're not really ranting on the human race.
Anyway, great points you have here. This is sort of a sub topic of mine that is more in depth.

How is this about projects? Looks to be about forum threads.

Fourm threads that are bumped to much leave the ones that arnt in farther pages back, giving less bumped topics and they may be great projects less views

These forums are a shared space...and it is important to be polite about how you use them. Bumping should be limited to no more than once or twice per day. And multiple topics about the same project should also be avoided.
However, it's also important to not get too fixated on these things...politely remind people that don't understand the way things work. If they continue to act offensively, please report them to the moderators and let them handle it.
Thanks for reminding us all about proper forum etiquette. I believe this can now be closed
