New ... thing?

I noticed this a couple days ago. On users with very long names (like littletonks lover or angeliccharizard), on their comments and under their projects, it has a ... at the end of their username instead of writing out their full name. Why?

Re: New ... thing?

Hasn't it always done that?
Well, it's kind of like when a link is too long, it just shows the first part, ..., and then the last part. Right?
Also, on your desktop, if you name a shortcut something like "thisisaverylongnameforashortcutindeed", then it's only show like "thisisaver.."
Tons of programs do that with stuff that's too long to fit the text box thing's automatic settings.

Not on usernames, though.

Re: New ... thing?

Well, I guess it's safe to assume that this feature is on usernames now
Just deal with it
