I accidentally closed a window and my scratch is frozen, it had a little pink window pop up in the corner, and I accidentally closed it.
It said something like small memory or something... besides the window, the screen was just white.
before this happened I clicked on the flag.
I Alt Tabed out, and when ever I get back in It's just a white screen until I alt tab out.
An Answer within one to four hours is a unreasonable request, but I'm afraid I won't have any longer than to solve this, otherwise I'll lose 3 hours of serious debugging on my game, and this is a school assessment piece.
The reason it's so big is because I have a few audio files on it, but I also have thousands of small images, and I also have like about 25 to 35 sprites with an average of 11 lengthy scripts each.
I'd send you a screen shot it's really just a complete white screen so it would be of no use to anyone.
But for what it's worth one of my sprites is a white border, for fade in's and stuff.
It's a game based on Zelda.

Update: I Pressed Alt F4 out of desperation, and a small window popped offering to save....
I thought it was the end of my problems, until I reopened it, and it was exactly as I described before, a white screen. Now when I open scratch normally it just has a white screen. So I think it may be something to do with the program in general........
So I guess it's not as Urgent as I made it before.
I wasn't sure how to upload it to my profile, but I uploaded it on google documents. If any of you are interested in looking it.
it's about 53.2MB

I'm gonna try downloading the older version of Scratch and try that in the mean time after I restart my computer. This may not be as big as I think.

What? 53.2 MB?
I don't know... maybe the project is too big for Scratch to open?

Projects over 10 MB are unshareable. Projects of over 25 MB are likely to freeze Scrtach.

I don't think it's project is the problem, but it such did start it. I think I'm gonna reinstall Scratch, I tried restarting my computer it didn't do a thing.

By the way, I can open the project with Scratch, so yeah, the project isn't the problem.

that's good to know..
I'm not sure how well it saved, so out of curiosity is there 6 or so sprites that look like bats? If there is it must have saved well.
I've uninstalled the program and I'm downloading the 1.4 version atm.

Well I've reinstalled the program, and to my disappointment it didn't save form where I was Hoping.....
I guess I'm gonna have to get some serious work done to catch up

If it's just a white screen ONLY, then:
Right click the open space
Select open...
Select Scratch
Then Scratch should open.
Then ShiftClick the R
And Select Save Image For End User.
That should Reset the Scratch Frame.
And also....
I recommend you dont use more than 500 pictures (whether they are 10 pixels to 1000 pixels)

Well it was sort a like that, but no user input did anything. Except alt F4.
It also wasn't just a white background, it had a pink window, and in the window it had 3 options, which I accidentally closed. Which coursed this how scenario.
Thankfully now after 5 hours of catch up though out the night, I have caught up on my work, and avoided the some of the extra work I did before.
Plus I delete at least of 4 the 8 songs it had on their. They are just scenic stuff, and one 8 second track for transitions.

I now have this problem. It just won't save, no matter what I do.

Sounds like this problem here. Is there enough save space on your hard drive to save the project?
