Scratch

This makes a lot of sense.  I think this will help Scratchers a lot.

1. A flame war is pretty much a fight- Insults, threats, that kind of stuff.
2. No, the only people who are informed are the Scratch team/mods
3. No, not at all. Unless you aren't flagging for the right reason. If you ever see anything inappropriate, flag it.
4. They aren't automatically banned after a certain number of flags, I believe. The Scratch Team will look at whatever it is thats being flagged, then they decide what to do.
5. They look at it.

Ah just to add to question #3 -
There is no limit on flagging, but there are measures in place so you can flag a comment of project only once. A project getting multiple flags is usually auto-censored from the Scratch website and is reviewed by the Scratch Team (it can be restored if the Scratch team feels it was censored unfairly).

There have been cases where the flagging system has been abused by viewers (ie. flagging intentionally to censor someone simply because they don't like them), and this can get you blocked from the website. But other than that, if you sincerely feel the project is inappropriate, you are free to flag it so long as you have a valid reason for doing so - in fact, when you flag something down you are required to give a reason for doing so, so make sure you don't forget to type in your reason! 

To add to question #4 -
Generally, something is inappropriate if it breaks the Terms of Use. Things that violate the Terms of Use are usually removed from the website.

Oh..thanks for the info! I appreciate it. I haven't seen anything inappropriate so far, but I will flag if I feel something is!

He's my question:
With a picture, what does a ban look like? I've had people explain it in words, put I'm not fully getting the picture.

It wasn't exactly pointed at you, just at whoever seemed to have a picture of a ban.

This incident involved so called 'hacking' by a certain user which never even happened. The user has a gained an almost mythical status because of this. Now, let's stop discussing this topic, it's not nice to the user who was accused.
