Kinda like the "If your freind jumped off a bridge" thing... Oh well. I'm not in a hurry.

Just the logo, default sprite, new scripting pane texture etc completed, and I have the 2 scripting panes halfway done. But for some reason, it won't evaluate the instance pane scripts, so I'm trying to get that worked out...

I am starting a Scratch Mod called Blocktalk (It was originally called Scratchtalk, but I found out that it violates the tems of use). It will be like the bridge between Scratch and the language it was programmed in, Smalltalk and I hope it will let other advanced Scratch users learn Smalltalk.
The Differences
• It will include four categories in the top of the script editor instead of three:
Class Scripts, Instance Scripts, Costumes and Sounds.
• It will also have a few new blocks.
If you would like to help me develop this, you can be a Programmer, you can suggest new features for future versions, or you can help in any other way you feel is appropriate.![]()

The only current developer is:
Jwosty - Programmer
(I will not be accepting offers to program, sorry)
Beta Testers have been removed because Blocktalk1.0Beta will be availible to anyone (I hope)

Eventually, if I ever get it finished. I may release the .image and .changes files, along with some other important stuff. So yes, it will work on windows, there just wouldn't be any .exe file.

Thats what SoftDEV should do.

Jwosty, happy 800 posts! (in advance of one)
I was wondering if you could send me the image file as it is now (somehow) because i need to evaluate the program before MOD SHARE is officially released as stable.
If not, I will be forced to remove Blocktalk from the allowed mods list until I can try it out. My email (for Scratch and related stuff only of course) is [email removed by moderator]
Thanks, LS97 (mod share software approver)

I read the first page and it looked like some people didn't understand squeak very well. I skimmed the second and third pages though. A good tutorial on squeak that I found was here: http://www.squeakbyexample.org/.

Yeah, I know Smalltalk pretty well, but I'm not the best out there. AND I took a long break, so I haven't gotten anywhere
If anyone knows where Scratch finds the blocks to evaluate, that would be HUGE. the problem is that I can't get any blocks in the 'instance' pane to run...

Ok I have decided to let someone else resume the project. It is unfinished and the source code is available for download here. But PLEASE give me credit if you finish it!
Thanks
