Try using the <pen down> block then using the motion blocks to move where you want to draw.

Yeah! Have a look at my project Pattern Maker. Set the Degrees variable to about 15, and it'll create a spiral!

on a different note to make a perfect circle of square, hold shift while drawing a circle or rectangle.
