A question about forum post counts...

When a post of yours gets deleted, or a topic you posted on is deleted, does your post count go down? Or does it stay the same, since that post/topic is locked away in the "Dustbin"?

Posts are deleted and don't go into the Dustbin - well, I don't think they would.

And no, your post count doesn't go down.  hmm

Just tested by posting and then deleting. Post count doesn't go down.

Re: A question about forum post counts...

Does that mean you could spam then delete repeteadly to get your post count up?
Wait, no, the 60 second rule.
But I know how to defeat the 60 second rule.
MWAHAHAHA!

Most posts that we delete go into the dustbin. If you personally delete a post, it's gone and gets subtracted from your post count, I'm pretty sure... But maybe not. I'll run a quick test.  smile  EDIT: Oh, dear goodness, deleted posts don't subtract from your post count! So every post you've ever made, deleted or not, goes into your post count.

But don't go spamming now and delete just to get a higher post count.  wink

So, I think this topic has cleared up the initial question. So, it can be closed now.  smile
