The best comic series EVER! I got a free copy of issue 27 from Richard Starking himself! 
Seriously, go read it. It's awesome. What's better than a merry band of genetically engineered African animals (elephants, hippos, and rhinos mainly) made as soldiers? NOTHING.
No, it's not from Marvel. It's from Image.
Also, don't read it if you can't handle blood and gore. There's a lot of it.

It's not necessarily a superhero comic. It's more of a war comic. It's also serious stuff, so don't expect anything funny in it. Innocent humans are brutally killed by unforgiving crocodiles. It's some pretty icky stuff actually.
Still, it's awesome because of its characters. My favorite is Hip Flask, the hippo.

Oh, you're saying Death Note is better than Elephantmen. Death Note is some pretty cool stuff also, but I still like Elephantmen better.
