One problem with stars is that people might feel bad if they get 1 star, since it's the lowest, it would be almost like getting negative feedback. We tend to prefer things positive feedback or to encourage people to use the comments to give constructive criticism.

Its not a bad idea but as Andres said people might get upset or discouraged if they wind up having a project with one star. what we can continue doing is give users positive feedback, and tell them what they can improve to make it like a *5* star project
