Saving Automactically

Scratch should save automatically when it closes out, out when the computer shuts down. Because my CPU awlways freezes, and makes me lose my prograss. It is very annoying, and I'd really like to see that happen...

Re: Saving Automactically

Great idea! Oftentimes, though, I quit Scratch and don't want my project to save. I like how Microsoft Office handles Autosave - it only autosaves when your computer crashes or freezes - but that might be a little annoying with Scratch.

I believe I suggested this back in the Medieval times of Scratch: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=8169...

You may; as long as you have a reasonable point to make  wink

Well, it actually does autosave periodically, but it just deletes the file afterwards unless the computer crashes. I think a similar feature would be great in Scratch.

Well, If you don't want it to save, though, you could always go back and delete it. But usally if you don't want it to save, you close it before it shuts off on you.

What if you accidentally deleted a sprite, and now that it saved the project you can't get it back.
