What does "affirm this tag" mean?

I've noticed that on projects, in the Tag section, there is a + next to each tag, what happens when you click it?

Thanks!  big_smile

Well, it "affirms that tag"!  big_smile

OK. 'Affirm' means 'confirm', which is the opposite of 'flag'.

What mathematics said.  smile  When you click on it, it makes the tag bigger. For example, let's say I see an animation, and it has the tag "animation". When I click on "affirm this tag" I'm making it bigger, and I have never tried or tested it, but I think that the tag goes up in the "Projects tagged with ____" when you affirm the tag.  smile

Re: What does "affirm this tag" mean?

Clicking the little plus makes the tag bigger and more important.
When someone searches for something like "Platformer" there may be multiple results, so the ones with more clicks on the affirm button will show up top of the list.
This also makes it so people can not just spam 100s of tags and appear on all those searches because they need more people to affirm them.
