Variables question

Can you use a variable to specify which variable to set?

I think he or she means something like this:

Unfortunately, reporters won't fit in that "hole"

Instead, you'll have to do something like this:

Or, for a less time consuming method, you could use a list, but "variable" would always have to be number.

As scmb1 pointed out, you can't do that - yet. I hope that all that will change with the next version of Scratch; all drop-down menus, I believe, should be able to  house variables  smile
