My post is pretty much what FlexiStudio just said.. I'm also running, and I've linked my speech at the bottom of my signature. 

I'm running for community moderator. I love helping out around the website, and being in the position of community moderator would help me do that even more so. Even if I am not elected, I will still continue to flag innapropriate content on the forums and the website, and help out the members of our community.

I would love to have the opportunity to run for Community Moderator this fall. My short speech on the matter can be found here, although I think it should be the character and contribution of the contestants that is judged by voters, not a piece of writing. I hereby nominate myself for Moderator. You can see by my projects and comments that I'm not your run of the mill scratcher. I'm not as experienced as some, but I understand the members of the community, young and old, new and seasoned. Oh, I've seen some great projects before they were featured.
