Iv'e seen allot of topics like this and decided now is a good time to release my formal speech. Please comment and all support is greatly needed!
When I first joined the Forums, I looked through the threads and looked for what was missing in the genre of guides. I first put together a guide that covered the basic uses of Scratch. In the end, it was a guide that covered nearly everything. You can find it here. Then I decided to start writing guides about making sprites and where to get good graphics etc; You can find them here and here.
I got great responses from coolstuff and more Moderators', but sadly they never got Stickied. I first learnt about Scratch when I was 12 and my brother introduced it to me. I'd been making projects for around a year before I learnt you could share games online! After discovering the Forums, becoming a Moderator was my ultimate goal. Here are some final notes to encourage you to elect me.
- I'm well spoken and polite.
- Being 14, I find it easier to understand younger users.
- I'm active everyday for nearly 3-3.5 hours.
- I have made lots of friends and introduced Scratch to many schoolmates.
- I love to show new users around!
- I run a successful Forum newspaper with great response - Scratchers Informer.
- I have experience from Staff positions from popular text based games.
A final note. Many of you may be thinking, '250 Posts?'. (480 Now.) Yes, let me enlighten you. 'Quality is better than Quantity.' And in the guidelines for becoming a Community Moderator, I have been around for the right amount of time. So, I believe I am a well suited candidate for Scratch, but that is ultimately up to the Community and the Team! Please comment and remember...
Vote FlexiStudio for Moderator!

Ooh - that's an impressive campaign you've got there
I can 't believe I've never found the "Need help? Look here!" guide before - it's really detailed
I'll certainly consider you when voting ^^

As in, blew your chance of him voting for you.
...why has he BLEW it?! I think younger mods are better. They know how to word things so younger people understand. What I mean is this:
Person1, age 10 : Why is this project not working for me?
Now, which is more useful?
FlexiStudio : You've forgotten to add a forever block. [image of a good script]
Some Older Person : Your project is lacking the basic requirement of a 'forever' block, meaning your creation is incapable of performing the commands after the flag is pressed.
I'm voting FlexiStudio. So THERE.

Dude, nearly all the Mods are 14. Illusinist is the youngest! The minimum age for a Moderator has been changed to 14, so there is no way I have 'Blew it'.
Anyway, thank you very much Dancing_Donut! I'm glad to see that you support me!
So juststickman, would you kindly explain?

He's just mad that he can't run or something
It'll pass

Yeah, you seem to be, in my opinion, one of the most straight-talking people running for mod. Lots of the others seem to want the power and fame, but it sounds like you actually WANT to help people. And PS I like your sig.
@blade, I agree.

@blade, I agree.
Thanks, I try not to diddle-daddle. Anyway, Scratchers Informer #3 is out! Make sure you tell me whether you want the name changed, I'm in the process of making the new logo for it

I'll consider. I dropped out though, so I won't be so focused on the campaigns.

Not six months old. I'll try again next year.
Why so surprised?
