Curator Interest.
I posted a request to be a Curator in the Announcement Forums yesterday, and I noticed the huge amount of response that topic has received. It's really inspiring when you see the amount of interest from people who want to show the diversity of their views. And some of the kindness of the users that post is stunning; it's great to see that the Forums have a community of polite and well spoken people. Have you been a curator before? Then post your name! Public Vote: Scratchers Inforumer
I received a comment on the last edition from WaveOSBeta, that we should change the name of the Paper to 'Scratchers Inforumer'. It's clever, considering the Paper is made for the Forums only; and then name has a unique ring to it. Anyway, with undying support I decided to start a vote on whether we should change the name. I support the idea, but it's up to the Community ultimately. Post your thoughts here!

Special Edition.
Here is a note for the upcoming Scratchers Informer, maybe soon to be Inforumer. The current day is the 13/10, and more news on the upcoming Fall Elections will be posted tomorrow. Anyway, I dare say there are tens of people who want to know what's going on and in inside view on the choices the Scratch Team will make. So I'm cutting the 3 day posts short, and tomorrow there will be a special edition just for the Elections! Don't miss out on all the inside views!

What's happening in Suggestions?
Scratch development has always been here, ongoing and non-stop. Here we will cover some topics that I agree on and see if they will make their mark in Scratch history. There has been a post about a new Paint Editor, which I totally support. Although the current PE is portable, small and simple to use. It lets you down some of the time. Although you maybe thinking; 'Just use GIMP', why? All the Paint editor needs is an update, and it will be top-notch. What do you think? Another post has been by myself. Although we have all these nice smiley's, why don't The Scratch Team bring out something seasonal? Maybe a Pumpkin Smiley for Halloween and a Christmas Tree for... Christmas. Share your views.

User Spotlight: cheddargirl
As requested by The_Dancing_Donut, maybe the the next Spotlight should shine on someone who has been contributing and helping the Forums allot. This edition's spotlight goes to cheddargirl, who has shown her undying support for new users and her extensively detailed posts. She is well written and has patience for users who don't understand and need someone to wave the torch their way. Thanks!

Cheddargirl is probably one of the best mods I've seen in my opinion. She's real helpful and she needs appreciation. smile

And yeah, there are SO many different users trying to be curators, plenty of new users too. It's encouraging to know they are getting so involved too. The Scrath Team must be swamped, with all the replies!! big_smile

I haven't done anything really, and I'm not helpful like some people!! WOW!!! Thank you (in advance)!!!!
And also, I feel like saying that Scratch Mags like this are really cool and helpful, especially as this is on the forum. I mean, on projects, you can comment but you can't contribute images. And it can be annoying downloading it, etc.
It's awesome for not-new Scratchers too. This deserves all the attention it gets. COME ON PEOPLE!! tongue VIEW THIS!!

Information about us:
SMLITC was founded before last summer (some of you may remember the banner), and has been recently revived. We have 2 web designers: freddy (ultraman, came from a joke skit he'll probably make) and satan (co-founder of rail gods steel sentinels clan along with plather and me, AKA satanix/surreal king/satanicst/elysian vibe/ whatever the [removed] he's been before). There is only one game programmer, me (katana098, also rail gods founder) and we're hiring staff. If you are interested and are able to...
1. Make flash games
2. Make flash games with stencyl
3. Draw art for games
4. Draw random art (comics etc.)
5. Make very high well executed scratch games (MUST work online since we're embedding them)
6. Advertise well (actually get a lot of views)
7. Make sound effects (music less needed, we "have" technoguyx who is technically not staff but I use his songs in everything)
8. Server hosts
They post in the "SMLITC is hiring" thread in news and announcements. We currently have no need for moderators, as we don't have many members. If you can't do any of this, sign up anyway ^_^
Games are currently not working due to some mochi ads issues, comics coming soon, and the site will be changed soon. Overall, we need more members! SMLITC sponsors a (free XD) minecraft server, katana's semi RP server. If you would like to host the server, it would be nice.

Very interesting magazine, I enjoyed reading it! I support the creative name change, it would make the magazine truly unique. As for user spotlights, I'd like to nominate Kileymeister. smile

I just thought, I'm not sure if you've already done this, but a 'THANK YOU SCRATCH!' section, thanking good contributors, the Scratch Team and the mods. It would shine a light on how much those people help the community and it would make them feel appreciated. And you could have a 'Game of thr Day', etc.
