I watch kids for money.
Watch =/= to babysit, though. My dad pays me to watch my little sister when we have company over and to watch my older sister when she has company over. And, when I'm at my godmother's house (Which is pretty often), she pays me to watch her kids sometimes. Yeah, yeah, I know- I should do that without asking for pay (And I do it for free more than I do for pay- I never ask them to pay me, anyway, but if they tell me they will then I obviously would accept), but you haven't met these kids -_-
Also, I give loans. And charge interest. Its pretty effective, however, my sister has yet to pay me back the 50$ she's owed me since February, and I charge 2% a week, which is one dollar. So, yeah, I'll do the math later.
But, then again, you need money to loan out money, so that might not work for you.

Don't taunt me.
And I wouldn't. I'd just do some stuff with the kid, until he goes to bed, than turn on my iPod (with headphones), and listen to Gorillaz until the parents come back.
IF i could babysit.

I can't think of any ideas for getting money, but I do know how to pay less on a comp:
Buy a PC.
I know I will get criticism for saying that, but it has been proven that PCs are cheaper at each performance level than Macs. I am not saying Macs are bad, it is just that PCs are just cheaper and just as good. I am typing on a nearly 2 year old HP laptop, and it is as good as new, other than it is a little slow booting up because it is loaded down with old programs I don't use anymore.
You can get a $800 PC that is as powerful as a $1000-1200 Mac.
Just think about this advice.
A lot of those people leaned more towards PC...

If the kid starts shouting out for you, you wouldn't be able to hear him.
I make much of my money from allowance. $10 a month goes a long way when you don't spend any money.
Additionally, I do some work for my dad's business, like manufacturing switches, or maybe cleaning up the office around there. Also, I get payed $10 a week to mow the lawn at my dad's office - that's good money. All in all, things come 'round to $50 a month on a good month. If your dad or his coworkers are willing to give you some non-professional work, I'd go for it.

fjfkzjld how can you get any money THAT way?
There's something called "doing it to be nice." I shovel and rake leaves and don't get any money. That's just stuff that's expected of you.Meh, my dad pays me a little bit. Perhaps I'll convince my dad to pay me for shoveling too

For example, for this pile:

I might get $2![]()

Eh, I just do it for fun.
And it's true. To be honest the drawings aren't worth much more that $0.50

Learn an instrument. I won around $2000 dollars (Not counting for the rest of my band or family) playing the drums. Around half of it playing with my family (All my family plays instruments) and around $500 with my band, and around $500 alone.

That was no taunt, good sir.
But after the kid goes to sleep, you cranking up the tunes would probably not be a good idea, because it would wake them
Never mind, I should've read that headphones thing. Anyway, I heard that a few kids like to play pranks on baby sitters
So you better watch out, if you get the job.

Start WW3. According to research, if WW3 is started, there is a 0.000000000001% chance of a Macbook falling from the sky into your hands.

Most of those are illegal
Sing songs for money.
Help your mom out.
Help your neighbours out.
Only do these 3
And I guess that dollar thing works, but you'll be known as a borrower, and you'll run out of people to ask. It only works on friends

Learn to draw, then sell
It works surprisingly well. If you need it, I can give art lessons.
I'm currently working on a painting that I'm going to have my mom sell at work so I can buy cans of food for my school. I hope I can get enough to buy stuff

A lot of people have pets that need looking after. Dogs need walking. Cats need feeding and litter cleaning while people are away. I bet there's good money to be made doing that sort of thing.
Offline
I would be doing that too, but I have an irrational fear of dogs

I'm scared of a lot of dogs too, unless I've known them for a while. I think it's because when I was little this black lab would alway come running up to our yard and chasing me and my sisters. Pretty freaky until my dad came with a broomstick. The neighbors weren't very happy though.
Oh yeah and once it got me and started licking my face. I couldn't breathe.
