I know there's been a problem with random logging off before, but my case is just ridiculous. I usually get randomly logged out at least once every 15 minutes, and sometimes, I get logged out right after I log in, or I have to log in every time I go to a new page. I've held off complaining about it, but now I've had enough. Someone must have messed up on the PHP's cookie writing.

For me, I have to log back in EVERY TIME I LEAVE THE SCRATCH WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, sometimes it takes me to my stuff page without actually logging in!!!!!!!!!!!! GAHHGFUIG&*G$Y&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*%#&*R

Sometimes when I open up the Scratch Website I find that I'm logged out... it's a bit odd. (I'm using Chrome...)

When I first joined, my computer logged me off every five minutes at least. It was terribly annoying - though it never really occurred on the Forums.

Somehow, this bug comes and goes with time, so I think patience is key big_smile

It used to do this to me on Safari, but I switched to Chrome and it fixed it. Try using a different web browser.

This used to happen to me all the time, so I changed from Firefox back to Google and it worked.

Switch browsas! Theres chrome, firefox, safari, i dont know about internet explorer, and some other stuff.

That's not the problem. I stay logged in on all sites except for Scratch!

So what browser are you using now? I used to have the random logout problem with IE but it's been mostly gone since I switched to Firefox.

I use Safari, and this problem only happens on Scratch.

I use Safari too. My logout triggers are:

1. Being on a project for over 5 min.
2. Posting on the forums (I usually copy my post in case it logs me out without posting)
3. Pressing logout (no way to avoid that!)

This is my 2nd attempt, I hope it works...

Solved it (sort of). You're using a Mac, right? Well download the newest version of Safari. There's a Top Sites default. Set Scratch Forums to one of the windows, but do it when you're logged in. Now, click that window to automatically log on! I know it doesn't sound promising, but it works!

Yeah, I have this problem too!

If you don't have enough cookies, the computer won't remember you're account.

A possibility is it might be based on web browser. I did some experimenting last week with this and I used: Safari, Internet Explorer, and the one I always use, Firefox.

With Firefox, it never logs me out. Ever. It has happened on Explorer a few times. And quite a few on safari.

Does that help? what web browser do you use?

I use Safari. It doesn't matter though. It happens on all the browsers I use.
