Danger Days

My Chemical Romance's new album.

It's coming out in November. I cannot wait. I heard "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na)", and it was awesome. So, the album is probably going to FTW.

Are you an MCR fan? What's your favorite album/song by them. Did you like the new one?

My favorite songs are either "To The End", "Teenagers" or "Na Na Na". My favorite album is The Black Parade. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge was almost as amazing.

And I am tired of them getting the "emo" label. They are freaking alternative rock/power-punk!

So yeah. MCR fanboys/girls unite in this thread.

Re: Danger Days

Oh, I see you put "Give peace a chance" in your signature. Thanks a lot ^^

And yes, guilty, I am a fan of My Chemical Romance. I am helplessly obsessed with "Dead!" and "Welcome to the Black Parade"

I must go download this album on iTunes >.>

You can't get the album until November  sad

Re: Danger Days

I like The Black Parade.
From there, I like Teenagers, Famous Last Words, and Welcome to the Black Parade.
Thats all. Kind of. But, I like those three songs enough to call MCR one of my favorite bands. I haven't listened to them much by them, though, but I will. Eventually.  tongue

Please defend yourself on why you like all this country music, and not this awesome rock music.

No offense. I respect your opinion. I just want you to defend it, because I don't agree with it.

Listen to Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Especially, To The End, The Ghost Of You, and Helena.

And I like rock too... Just not MCR. Other rock bands like Yellowcard, Switchfoot, and Blink-182.

They are awesome.

Why is country your personal choice. Make a valid argument, and I'll leave you alone.

It used to be a good thing, but now it's all cutting wrists.

And yes, they do sing about death and suicide. They do this to show people who have thoughts of that, that they are not alone.

MCR wants to make a change in the world. That's why they started the band.

What I am seriously tired of is them being labeled suicide cult, as explained.

'Make a valid argument?' Do you hear yourself? He just likes it. There's no valider argument than that. Why do you like the Gorillaz? You'll probably say because they have good music. That's your opinion though. Aidan's opinion is that country music is good. He'll say that it is good music. Now do you understand how opinions work?

Re: Danger Days

i didn't care for their first album
loved their second
liked their third

but nananana is not really my style, too happy and i mean, come on, nananana?  really, that's when things have gone a little too far.  not very creative anymore.

i hope the other songs on their album have more substance.

Yeah, I'm into the kind of bad-boy punk of Na Na Na. But I can completely understand why you don't like it.

They've definitely changed. That's what I like about them. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge sounded different than the Black Parade. And this album sounds like neither. I like their diversity.

Ha!

I could explain why I like Gorillaz.

The tracks are produced wonderfully. The lyrics are very surreal. They have a unique sound, that sounds like nothing else out there.

There! I just made a valid argument on why I like Gorillaz. People like things... because they like things? That's what your saying.

Why is it their opinion?

You don't get that people have/should have reasons for liking what they like.

Re: Danger Days

I don't like it because it has no substance. It's just noise.

Sure it doesn't sound bad, but it doesn't even have a real title or real lyrics

EDIT: oh you said you DO understand. Not don't, nvm hahaha

Yes, that's why you like them. I however don't think their tracks are produced wonderfully, that their lyrics are surreal nor that they have a unique sound. Yes that's a valid argument. You like it for those reasons.

Aidan likes country music because 'the tracks are produced wonderfully. The lyrics are very surreal. They have a unique sound, that sounds like nothing else out there.'
He can use the exact same definition as you did for the Gorillaz. It's all about interpretation. But he doesn't have to. What makes you think people need reasons for liking something? 'I don't get' that they have to? It is yourself who does not understand. There are just some things you like and don't like. They don't need reason and they are likely to never change. This is what an opinion is. I will now not stoop to a certain level and repeat a dictionary definition of 'opinion' three times, but maybe you can look it up for yourself.

But perhaps we should get back on topic and discuss My Chemical Romance and such.
So, yeah. MCR.

Yeah.

Did you know that Gerard Way is married to Lyn-Z (bass player of Mindless Self Indulgence). They are like perfect for each other. They are both awesome.
