Global warming is a hideous thing

I'll move this to miscellaneous - it seems to fit better there
It's kind of variable weather here in England - some days it's cold (I could see my breath while I was walking to school the other day Normally it doesn't get so cold for at least another couple of weeks), and other days it's rained almost non-stop (Although, being British, I should be used to that by now ). But today it was quite warm - about 20 degrees celcius, which, considering that we've had a fairly cold summer here, is something that we're pleased about

Last year, we got a blizzard on the last day of fall. D:
So far this October, the mornings have been really cold. Like, just ten degrees above the temperature where it can snow. But the afternoons are pretty warm, so we probably won't be getting much (or any) snow until at least November. That is, if we get any snow at all.

"Yukon, Alaska, and Germany?"
Wow - that's only a handful of the places where it gets colder in the fall.
Theoretically, it should get colder in the fall everywhere. We haven't gotten any snow yet, but the leaves are changing and it's been in the negatives once or twice this fall. Right now it's pretty warm, but hey, it's Thanksgiving, so I can't complain.

Ehem. All of New England gets colder.
In Maine, we had snow in JUNE for crying out loud!

It NEEDS to snow. Every day I find myself flying down black diamonds at light speed!

It's been varying where I live (Texas). Texas is such a big state there are different climates depending on what part your in. Where I live, it was cool (60-70F) for the last couple weeks, but yesterday it got warm again. Once halloween rolls around though, it get's cool and stays that way (60F). Around thanksgiving it drops to about 40F, and stays between 30 and 40 degrees during the day for the rest of winter. At night it drops to around 25.

Snowboarding. I go Double black to, but the hill I usually go to has none because it's tiny and boring.
I go to Bear Creek. Sometimes I get lucky and go to Blue Mountain- That's in PA.

Not nice for me, going on holiday next week, and I'm skidding all over the place on my crutches. I don't want to die again.

I love snow. And this year we're supposed to get lots of it!

I love to ski
I love snow too, because for some reason I love being cold.

Snow seems to dislike me... It knows I like it, even though it's cold. So nearly every winter it makes sure it's mentioned a lot in the weather reports for 3-4 weeks and then snows for about 10 minutes and leaves again for another year >.>.

Snow is cool. It's water but you can pick it up and throw it at people!

But, still. I like snow. When we got, like, three feet of it last winter, I was pretty excited. It was probably the most snow I've ever seen at once. We couldn't even leave our driveway until we completely shoveled it, which I had to do late at night once, while it was still snowing. And we have a long driveway. So, by the time I was finished shoveling the entire driveway, the end of it had gathered, like, five new inches of snow. And, we ended up missing a week or two of school from snow days.
But, yeah, I like snow. Winter is probably my favorite time of the year, and snow is part of why.

When we left the snowy place I used to live in, I was 9, so I remember snow as a good thing. But my dad hates snow. He grew up in the northern mountains of Colorado, and everywhere we lived before where we live now had horrible snow storms.
