A certain someone I know (I can't even vaguely describe who he/she is or I'll break the TOU) decided to spam people with a spare account tha he/she made on my IP. His/her excuse? "I wanted to see what would happen, I didn't think they could ban the whole house."
I warned him/her that this would happen but he/she decided to do it behing my back. 700 spam comments behind my back -.-" It started a flame war. It's her/his fault for Andres making a whole topic about it yesterday on announcements
Anyway that's it. Btw will this hurt my chance of becoming a mod? I was in no way involved with the IP ban of my network, and that certain he/she appologized about an hour ago.

I don't think it will. My brother got me banned for a while, but it wasn't my fault.

My guess is that if you explain it to them, your record will show that your probably telling the truth.

If you tell the truth - and it's not absolutely bonkers - then I don't think it's reasonable that it will hurt your chances.
I had to re-read this to get it
In other words, If you're telling the truth then it won't hurt your chances

I don't think it will hurt your chances if you tell the truth.

As in if it truly wasn't him who got banned, and was his friend.

You're doubting him?
