I would like to be a curator because, I like those kinds of projects that no one ever thinks of, and uses scratch in different ways than I have seen in the years I've been on scratch, and with my previous accounts (and also ones that are funny ). And also those people with talents that no one notices. I would also like to be a curator because I've never been on the home page either, I would like a taste of what it feels like. I hope you pick me! -Awesomedude16

You've only been on Scratch for a month or so. And the Scratch Team won't pick you if one of your three reasons is that you want "fame."
I don't mean that rudely.

I would like to apply for the position of Curator. I would choose different types of projects that have gone unnoticed. Please consider choosing me for curator.

Hi i would like to become a scratch currorator. i would show the projects that i think are good and need more attention. i would also show projects that no one nows about to try and get those people more noticed in the scratch community. I would not show proects that are not very good but many people look at such as thos projects where they put a clip of spongebob and then play unfitting music. those are project that are not relly good and dont really show what a person can do. i would show projects like the racqaza project and other projects that people spent a long time on. That is why i would like to become scratch curator

I noticed that there have only been about 37 curators... and 87 pages of applications (yeah, I've done my homework)! Obviously a prestigious position. So yes, I'd like to apply; here's my resume... 38 projects created by me (some shared by my name were made on my computer by someone else while I was showing them how to Scratch), 2 remixes, lots of project series (like Flimbo and Bourbon), hyperactive imagination (projects range from Star Wars to Glub-glubs to slapstick comedy to random quizzes to racecars), 4 friends (3 of them I know in person), 260 comments, 3 galleries, my projects in 5 galleries, visit Scratch website daily, and 10 favorites (I'd add more if I got curator position). I'd like the position so I can get some of my friend's best projects on the home page- they're really great games, but none have more than 30 views. Oh, yeah, I taught a summer camp class on how to Scratch for high schoolers two years in a row- one year when I was in middle school.

This sounds fun. I'd like to do it - I'm impressed by scrollers.

[Removed by Moderator-please knock off the teasing]
The chance of getting curator is roughly 0.002% in the next 40 days, that's why I'll never attempt it

In light of Lightin's recent post I'm going to rewrite what i would curate.
A good deal of projects that get on the front page these days seem to be prank projects or have minimal programing (ie-press space to see art! not that these are bad- just taking up more room then they should be. and also the recent "Squidward falls while i play unfitting music" projects. there were 3 on the front page the other day). I would curate games that haven't gotten many views. Games take a lot of work. I would like to see the Scratchers who take the time to create awesome games that take a while to make and put a lot of effort into their programming. Thank you for taking the time to read this and i hope you consider me.Some examples: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/johndo77/1268894 really great choices game
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/PacMan3/1273798 Dot Game by PacMan3- i tried to get this featured!
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/HelenWonky/1116484 awesome game based on the big bang theory!
i have found some more projects i would like to curate!
RocketBoy by dayuppy
into the death star 3d by lizard657
portal bounce also by lizard657
Ball 1.2 by TheCreatorGuy
i would really like to see all these on the front page.

I's like to become curator because i want to make sure good projects that not very many people view are known. It's just bad luck and i know what it's like. I make all sorts of projects and the projects that i would favorite would probably be all different kinds too! I hope you consider me

I wouldn't mind being a curator; It wouldn't be too bad. I'd choose projects that obviously had a lot of work go into them, like animations and drawings. It wouldn't be all anime or all video games, either. There'd be a good mix.
Also, I'd choose things that don't get many views, just because several people decide they're going to quit if they don't get viewed, and I don't want people to quit.
Anyways, whether you choose me or not, Thanks for reading

May I suggest giving more information on what a curator is? Maybe say how to curate a project if you become one.
I would like to be a curator! I will curate animations that are drawn frame by frame like this! I would like to curate these projects because they are never separated from other kinds of animations that use the move block, and I think they should be recognized.

I've been on Scratch for a few years now, and I'd like to be curator. I would choose projects with innovative scripting that isn't commonly used. Projects fitting this criteria would be selected by me as curator.
I have also found that some projects that deserved to be front paged are not. I may sometimes feel the same way as the people who made the projects, but as curator, projects that deserve to be on the front page, probably will be.
Please consider this,
