Realtime 3D Raycaster freezes up. But I didn't expect it to do much with that anyway.
Speed improvements for shorter-script projects are good (e.g. Requiem of Thunder seems to run a bit faster now), but longer scripts seem to be running slower (as is most evident in my raycaster projects). Either way I'd love to see some more speed optimization...new features are great and all (especially BYOB) but, like I said way back during the transition to (I think) 1.2, speed is what I personally need the most. =P
I actually like the new look of the blocks (except pick random...the dice image just seems so out of place). I'd prefer it to look less plain (and without the black background) but I can live with it. Block editor speed and scrolling, on the other hand, seems quite a bit slower than the Smalltalk version.
Other than that I was pretty impressed with the work here. It's an ambitious project, and I wish you guys the best of luck

I noticed that what was "if _ else _" in Scratch 1.0, now in the experimental viewer is "if else _ _". Is this a mistake? I really hope so. Or is this the intended final form of the "if else" block? I really hope it isn't.

That's not a bug. You can do that in Scratch too.

Project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/recycle49/1323299 crashes the experimental viewer (in Firefox, Chrome and IE8).

I have two questions:
- is there a way of getting the experimental viewer only show the stage. i.e. without scripts, etc?
- Is there a way of running the experimental viewer on a different website or on a local project? I would be really happy if I could do this even for a very beta version.

Does anyone have a good guess on why PeterC's excellent 3D labirynh project (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/PeterC/1184244) is very good in the java player (that usually it is very slow instead), excellent in the new flash experimental viewer and, on the contrary, it is so bad in Scratch 1.4? Even running it in turbo mode doesn't help much...

At the moment, I guess not. But in the future, I hope so!

The project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/St7rfiter/1325819
runs well on the experimental viewer untill you start a new game. Once you start a new game the viewer lags and crashes.

For me, whenever I press the link that takes you to the EV (on any porject) it takes me to scratch.mit.edu.

So far, this Flash player has been faster than the offline program and the Java player.
On http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/ThePCKid/1341820, the Flash player was the fastest. It got 2.701 seconds
Good job on the speed (or is it just my PC)! *high five*

It's faster on mine to. If you could save edits to the projects and create new projects, I wouldn't use scratch.

GLITCH!
Update one of your projects. Now open the experimental viewer. It'll load the older version instead of the new one!

Oh, sorry. I meant, boolean blocks fit in side numberic inserters.

Then that's really a bug!

yeah, you can -- just explore the source of the HTML of the viewer and you should find the address of the flash viewer itself -- then put it in your browser and you have the viewer stand-alone (no saving tho).

Unfortunately, I don't sense better quality than online...

But you can't view only the project, right? (No scripts.)

Hi, love the viewer! I think I may have found a bug. On two projects in the [blocks]<set pen color to(colour picker square)>[/blocks] block I can't choose the colour. Hope this helps!
