I'm not sure what detention is like at my school since I've never been there. In fact, I'm not sure if we even have detention anymore. We do have Saturday school though, which is where you have to spend half your Saturday picking up trash and stuff like that because you were late a couple times or left your ID at home. I've never been there either. In middle school, we had "real" detention. Teachers sent me there on errands a few times, so I saw what it looked like. It was just a bunch of desks in rows. 

Detention stinks i dont know why you like it? Besides, iv never got one.

i got about 18-20 detentions last year and only 6 so far this year.

im not hell rebdog in school or anything i just never do my homework, almost always late for class and i forget thingsss.

Wow, okay then...

I've never had a detention, but my friend had one for bieng late. He said they spent the whole time searching for lost locker keys.

for us if you're late late 3 times, forget your homework 3 times or you forget something 3 times in 1 subject, you get a detention. you can also get them for getting 3 behavior reports.

during detention we just spend our lunch time sitting in a classroom. we can't talk or do anything like reading. we just sit there. when the bell goes, we leave.

In my school (I've never been, this is what my friends told me), you have to do extra work and they don't trust the kids so much that they lock all the doors.

Detentions range from 10 minutes to 1 hour.

Detention is horrible in my school. It's actually detention.

Our math teacher hates my teaching group. Every lesson with her this year so far we have had a detention - mostly lunch, one after school. In primary school, my class was banned altogether from trips, events, art lessons and music lessons. 

And my bag leaked yesterday, all over my math book. I tried fixing it with sticky tape and it failed. The cover broke off and ripped in half. And the ink on the colour made the pages inside go orange. I kinda think I might be in a detto for that and I might have to re-write my book. Oh joy.

The school has a bunch of adobe stuff that they're so stupid they can't use (the IT teacher doesn't seem to know what actionscript is...), just copy that into their share folder every class.

Around 10 GB gone... 1890 to go...

One time I got a detention for accidentally crumpling cheese and crackers in my teacher's desk all over his stuff

30 tardies? All you got is detentions? Wow. At my school you would be expelled.
