ScreenSavers

Hi, I was wondering how I could make a scratch project into a screensaver.

If it's possible to make a screensaver, how can I send it to another computer?

Will it work if that computer doesn't have scratch installed?

Thanks for your help!

Re: ScreenSavers

Hi. A while ago I made a screensaver for online scratch projects for windows XP. (might work on others). You can download it from my site http://www.what-thess.com/whatthess.htm. This is what it looks like.

You don't need scratch installed. You only need internet and Java.

Re: ScreenSavers

you can convert a scratch project to .exe and then find out how you can run a .exe file after say 3 minuets. Search Scratch2exe and convert it with that. Then search in google how to run a .exe after 3 minuetes of the sytem been idle!  big_smile

You can turn any exe into a screensaver. Edit the extension to .scr and click install.

does that change it to a screen save or does it just think it's a screen saver. if it works then convert the .sb project to .exe and then rename it the screensaver.src and right click and select install!  big_smile

It will work but the program won't exit on mouse move unless it's been programed too.
