Is there a way to email a project to someone without posting online?

Please answer me quickly since I need to send something TODAY  yikes  !

Thanks  wink

Re: Is there a way around posting?

You can use the attach a file option in your E-mail to attach a Scratch project and send it.  smile

Re: Is there a way around posting?

No, the receiver doesn't have Scratch. I want to use the Bookmark and Share feature without posting.

In that case, you'd have to upload it to the site so the receiver can play the project in the Java player unless they downloaded Scratch so they could run the project offline.

Re: Is there a way around posting?

Yeah, but you know the button under tags? If you click it, you get to email Scratch programs. How does that work? And how many people do you think would view it if I uploaded, shared, and deleted in say 5 minutes (assuming I made it on to Newest Projects, which somehow never happens unless I don't want it to  sad )?

Moderators, if I don't get an answer by tomorrow, please don't delete this. Many scratchers have asked this, and it might be a good place for us to figure out an answer.

Never noticed that o.O But just tested it, and it just emails a link to the project.

Is their no way for the receiver to download Scratch? Because that would probably be the easiest way if you don't want anyone to see the project.  smile

Re: Is there a way around posting?

I would do this.

(Assuming they are on PC)
Use Jens Scratch2Exe to do it (now you cant see the code).

Or use JSO's idea: Pack All the Scratch things and the project into a Exe using Iexpress.

Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

Or use my Scratch EXE Creator, which also can save your project back into the EXE!
