Online player

I noticed that sometimes projects don't work properly online.
I know this is because of something within the online player.

Does anybody know what is faulty? If so can we fix it?

Also, Scratch 2.0 is going to be rewritten in flash. will this solve the problem?

Re: Online player

The Scratch program is written in Squeak, while the online player is written in Java - Squeak and Java work differently in some places - for example, Squeak can tolerate large numbers, while Java will use standard form.

Scratch 2.0 will be written in Flash, and so will the online player - so the new online player should work just like Scratch!  big_smile
