My calculator, a TI 83 plus, is messed up. All it's trigonomotry is messed up. Apparently the sine of 90 is .8939966636... it's actually 1.

Doesn't work, I tried resetting it 3 different ways including taking out all the batteries and backup battery. I think it's perminate, but I'm taking it to my math teacher tomorrow.

I hope you haven't been using this calculator for long if you haven't figured out how to use the modes properly yet or else all of your trigonometric equations could be wrong. You see a button labeled 'Mode'? You have to set your calculator to DEG as in degrees to use trigonometry. You have it on RAD which is for calculating radians. There's nothing wrong with it though, luckily
