Ew. I don't like Katy Perry... both her parents are pasters, she used to be a Christian artist... and now she sings songs about.... questionable topics.

i hate christian music. it's all the same; "i love youuu jesus! you're so cool! i love you so much! i love so much! i have no life outside of church and spend all my life worrying about afterlife so i donate all my time and money to the church! wooooooooo"
and katy perry's music is actually really clever.Hey! Listen to some more varied Christian music before you judge. And that comment was highly insulting to me and pretty much any other Christian out there. I don't make fun of your beliefs, do I?
wow, clam down. im catholic but that doesn't mean i have to listen to that rubbish. and i wasn't making fun of your beliefs, i was making fun of the music genre.

TV censors are very inconsistent. Some shows should be rated 'M' instead of 'PG'.

nah. i feel some should be the otherway around. like lord of the rings for example. although it was rated M tones of kids still watched it so i think they might have well had just make it PG instead. (i saw when i was like 7 or 8.)

I know, right! Take Back to the Future. About 10 billion swears, violence... And that's why it's one of my favorite movies! X3

I was mainly talking about a show called the Human Body rated PG. (You can see it on iview)

Oh, eew. And those surgery shows? Ick. I feel bad for my mom- she's an orthopedic surgeon. Although she's probably used to it by know... :d

Katy Perry in Sesame Street was NOT inappropriate. In fact, my classmate posted the video on our class' facebook wall, and my teacher even liked it!

So, you think if your whole class and teacher liked it, that makes it appropriate?
It's still inappropriate to the parents who got it off the air in the first place

LOLWUTI flipping hate Katy Perry!
But she did a good job on Sesame Street. (I make fun of Sesame Street a lot, but it's actually a very clever show, that even adults can enjoy).Sesame Street was the bomb when i was like 3 years ago. Never beat Elmo's World though xD
Good times. Anyone remember the show "Rainbow" ?
Paint. The. Whole. World. With. A. RAINBOW!! Is it the same show? The one with Geoffery and Bungle, Zippy and George?! And the awful singers Rod Jane and Freddy!!
They show it on Nick Jr. Classics because it's actually an old show.
Gosh, I LOVE Rainbow.

I like surgery shows. Ansd before I had surgery on my ankle I google imaged my condition and there was a picture of someones ankle/foot all open and bleeding.
Surprisingly, it made me feel better.
But in the end I couldn't find anything exactly the same as my extra overgrown bone. I've gotta accept I was a freak.
And yes, ratings are inconsistent.

Or the other way around for certain Hetalia shows.

It was serious flamebait, and you should have known Christians would take offense. And have you even listened to Christian music? (other than gospel)
On topic: I think that the whole issue with this is that all the adults freaked out over a bit of cleavage, but the kids who would watch it obviously wouldn't understand, or even notice.

O.o, okay, let's calm down on the flamebait now and leave it with as some people liking the genre, and some not. At the same time, let's remember to respect other people's opinions - not liking something doesn't give us an excuse to to speak severely ill about it.
Now, back to the topic about TV censors.

I enjoy 4kids censoring. The morals, I guess you could call it, are lower in Japan. They put out a lot of crazy stuff. And it's the same for many other countries. Instead of morals I guess I could use culture. It's not like others wouldn't do the same as 4kids, they just do it a lot, and sometimes more than the others would, and they get noticed more and are labeled as unhip or whatever it is that you consider them, PW.
