Re: LEGO Center

I have LEGO Digital Designer on my computer. It's really cool. You build 3-D models in your computer, and generate instructions to build them in real life!

The glass is never half full nor half empty; it is twice as large as it needs to be.

LU pre-ordered to my house Tuesday! The minifig is really cool. (and will be worth like $1000 dollars on ebay in a few years.)

Re: LEGO Center

One time my brother ate a LEGO block. He went to the ER and got his stomach pumped. I think he still has that LEGO block in a little baggy in his closet.

Creepy if you ask me.

What about you guys? Do you have any microfigures or lego games sets?  big_smile

Sadly, no. My brother and used to make board games with minifigures as the pieces though, but I don't think that really counts.  tongue

Most of the LEGO games my brother and I used to play were more on the computer than anything. We'd always get a kick out of playing things like LEGO Islandsmile

Still love that game... Old times...

Sorry for double posting...  sad

So, here's a set that I've been working on for around 6 hours now. I call it, "The Last Stand". Cool, huh?  big_smile

If you haven't already, read the above post.  wink

So, here are some pics:

This is the main base (still under construction) viewed from the runway. It's pretty tall.  big_smile

http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hj … GP2163.JPG

This is my main ship still under construction. I've made it longer, and made 2 floors, for the aircraft to land and to carry my tank.

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hi … GP2166.JPG

Sorry this one's so grainy.  sad  This is a shot of my plane, with the base in the background. Gives you a sense of proportion.  big_smile

http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hh … GP2168.JPG

And this is a pretty epic shot.  big_smile   big_smile   big_smile

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hh … GP2169.JPG

A close-up of the plane. Shows you the engines and a few things I'll talk about later.  wink

http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hg … GP2170.JPG

This is the long awaited helicopter. This is the best I've ever built, and I've built quite a few lego helicopters in my time. xD Not the best angle, though.  tongue

http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hg … GP2172.JPG

This one shows the stormtroopers in the cockpit of the heli.  big_smile

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hf … GP2173.JPG

Shows the tank in the lower levels of the main ship. It's not a tank until you see the gun I attach to it.  lol

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hf … GP2174.JPG

Blurry shot, but you can see the tank's trailer, where it can hold the command center (I'll talk about that later), and the helicopter. At the same time.  big_smile   lol

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hf … GP2175.JPG

This is the main helicopter ship. It still has a lot of work to be done, don't ask.  tongue

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3he … GP2176.JPG

This is the helicopter on the boat.

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3he … GP2177.JPG

This is the plane on the main boat.

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3he … GP2178.JPG

Shows the entire ship's layout and plane.  big_smile

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3he … GP2179.JPG

And dis, ladies and gentleman, is the command center. I am in it. xD

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hd … GP2180.JPG

You can see how the mobile command center and the heli work together.  big_smile

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hd … GP2181.JPG

This is the command center on the tank which is on the main ship. Phew.  lol

http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hc … GP2182.JPG

And now you can see where the mobile command center goes where it wants to fly, although it dosen't fit at the moment. xD

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mXv3HQnoqXY/TI3hc … GP2183.JPG

That's pretty much it. I'll probably post more photos next week.  big_smile

How do you like it?  smile

My friend's is a lot more EPIC. I'll try to post pictures.

Nobody mentioned the amazing Lego Racers game...

I loved that game... I had it on my very own lovely Nintendo 64...

(crys softly)

Lego is epic, the lego racers even epicer
I have boxes of lego, loads of bionicles, all of the original mars mission, several planes, the indiana jones. basically loads.

Lego racers was very fun. My favourite character is king kahukha because he is wacky. I have completed lego racers.
Out of interest does anyone know about lego racers 2 because it is way way way way way way way way better. It has 24 courses loads more powerups awesome bosses golden bricks. Even better is that the courses take part in 5 worlds which you can explore. In the worlds that you can do whatever you want. You can chat with the locals, find hidden golden bricks( a change from getting one when you win the race) you can also take part in challenges to make your car better.

The price is what you are surely wondering about.
Unbelievably you can get an old one from amazon for £1.80, yes one pound eighty pence.
Lego racers 2 isn't like most of the games today which get boring very quickly.
As long as you struggle a bit it is always interesting because you always have to finish that race to beat rocket racer.
