zomg love it. I support. Put it on the suggest site! Maybe someone could code it. (it would be easy if the scratch site has XML tags.) Maybe it could even open other websites and there could be a block
[open ['google.com'] in scratch browser]No, the Scratch browser wouldn't run HTML code, it just reads from a database on the Scratch server.
And I can't put it on the suggestions site because I don't have any votes left.
I'll do it for you. http://suggest.scratch.mit.edu/forums/6 … ike-itunes

Interesting idea! I think JSO was planning on making something similar for browsing resources; maybe that same idea can be applied here?
Anyways, I think it's a fabulous idea.![]()
Do you mean his Scraps widget? That's not really the same thing as this.

Well, I believe he had intentions to write up a modification of the Scratch application which had integrated browsing of the Scratch Resources library. Sort of like the Scraps widget, I suppose, but integrated into Scratch itself, similar to what this topic suggested. I was merely suggesting that the same idea be applied to projects.

Ah. My bad; I had a little mental lapse there.

The API is different than the Scratch browser I was referring to, though

Wow, I forgot about this. This, and your text-based script editor idea.
Yeah, I don't like that one as much
Maybe I should bump Collapsable Scripts again...

It's very hard to get pictures in dialogs, you'd have to rewrite SqueakSource. However I could try and make a php file which will just get the project description, title, and link

Excellent! Of course, the next version of Scratch will be inside the browser, but this would still be nice for the standalone app.
not entirely in the browser.
