Here's the thing, i found a new trick where you can record iPod music to scratch without any static! All you have to do is first, check if you have a iDog, or iCat, or whatever. If you don't, this trick is useless. If you do, next step is to find hat white wire the idog, cat, of whatever it is and connect on end to your mic jack on your CPU. Then, plug your ipod on the other end of the wire and then go to scratch and do record. wait a while and get the ipod on the song you want and pause, hold the ipod and the mouse (place over the red dot to start the recording part, wait a little bit, then play your iPod music and hit record on the same time. watch the ipod's time though before it goes to the next song, and when it ends the song (on ipod, aprox time left: 0:01 or 0:00) then hit done, and wait a little bit, and there you go. IPod music on scratch! enjoy!

btw the wire to the idog, i cat, or whatever you hav is short, so you may need to lean over for the ipod and over again for da mouse. Or if you hav a brother sister, or a parent that is willing to help they could do the mouse or iPod tasks making it way easier for getting iPod music on scratch

Well, you could always just save it as an mp3, but that's illegal for someone to export it from YOUR project

You can look into the external drive it creates when you plug it in (it should be in my computer saying "iPod" or "external drive") then add the sound into scratch directly from that folder there. I think iPods specifically have some crazy backwards thing that doesn't let you take music off, but for any other MP3 player that's how you would do it. It's a little confusing to figure out and I have no clue how to work iTunes.

that's what i do as well. i did what my itunes 2 scratch technique and i'll download web sounds and open them on itunes, drag the song onto scratch, then I'll delete it off my itunes folder (unless I want to keep it :B)
