I have a laptop with Windows 7 basic or whatever. i can't change the screensaver nor can I change the theme or use the game center or anything

Windows 7 Starter. It's restricted like that.

Good for you. I have Vista Basic. You don't even get the see through boarders on the windows.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Just what's the difference between Home Premium and Ultimate? I'm perfectly happy with Premium. Unless it has some super awesome Nuke feature, that is.

Lucky you. How much does the upgrade cost?
I have 7 Home Premium, and my brother has 7 Business (His comp is a work model.). I think Ultimate is just Home Premium+Business+Enterprise, so I guess I am 66% set.

2. Ultimate is Starter+HomeBasic+HomePremium+Professional. Enterprise is Starter+HomeBasic+HomePremium+Professional+Ultimate.

Ultimate is Home Premium + Professional, with BitLocker and 35 Languages.
