Yes, it makes make look back over two years, when I first started Scratch in September 08. This contest was one of the first things I ever did. There were 20 project places, each person could use up to 2. It was a lot of fun judging and updating. The winner: Super Dumb Star Bash!
Probarbly just about the shortest contest anywhere on Scratch ever, lasting only 2-3 days. Taking place in January, 11 people entered, 9 using 2 places (the maximum) and the other 2 just using one place. Great fun, but the winner didn't put the cup on the project due to being too busy. However, all viewers know about it winning due to being told in the notes and comments. The winner: Desktop 1.0!
This year, the 2010 contest was a great success. 30 places last year, and only 1 place per person. Only 24 places were used, the dealine of 1 month passed and the remaining 6 places were closed on the day of 31st May. My 11th birthday, 28th May, came during this contest. The winner: Sonic - Friend Or Foe Part 1!
Well, the time has almost come. The Scratch Contest 2011. Starting (confirmed) on 15 January next year. The number of places has not yet been confirmed, neither the max number of places allowed for use per person. I have the trophy in mind, it will look like the old ones, just saying 2011 instead. Look at the 2010 winning project (shown above) for a great quality and size view of what it looks like, from tomicool. If you think something needs to change from the last three contests or you want to suggest anything else, this is the thread where you can suggest it. I will consider all good suggestions, but I can't accept everything. I will close and confirm the contest rules and regulations on the 1 January 2011, so please suggest some time before then if you want your suggestion considered. To all players, good luck! The winner gets the trophy on their project and their project in the Hall Of Fame Gallery.
