Drawing features?

So!

You know the drawing feature in scratch? I was thinking it could use a little more...Pizazz

The tools are very basic, and make coloring hard. So maybe you could add a 'Layers' option, or a 'pull' tool. Even just those two could make a difference for artists everywhere.

I'm not trying to ask for too much. I 'm just curious, to see if anyone will acknowledge my request.

Re: Drawing features?

A lot of artists have been requesting this for a while, including me.

Personally, I think layers are a fabulous idea.

Re: Drawing features?

The Scratch Paint Editor doesn't have to be as good as GIMP - it's not supposed to be used for fancy art; it's just for sprites and such. If you need to, you can always draw your sprite in a different art program and then import it into Scratch.  smile
