I'm fairly certain that has nothing to do with it.
You can try switching your browser, but if that's too much for you, maybe clearing your cookies will work? I haven't had this problem in well over two years, so I haven't really gotten the chance to test out a decent solution.

I have this problem too! It doesn't matter which web browser I use.
Guess I'm wrong. It worked for me. Maybe it was just coincidence.

Just give in and switch to Chrome already. Or use IE
HAVE YOU NOT BEEN LISTENING?? IT'S NOT THE BROWSER!! (sorry) It's ONLY the Scratch site that does this on ALL the browsers I use, and I'm guessing it's the same for PC.

I've never been logged out at all, except a few times back in the day when I used IE
I found out that if you keep a tab open with a post reply window, you won't get logged out, simple as that.

Then maybe there is someone wrong with your computer.

- I use Firefox (everyone should know this by now);
- It happens ONLY with the Scratch site;
- Clearing cookies doesn't help;
- THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE SYSTEM FOR THE LOGIN COOKIES ON THE SCRATCH WEBSITE IS GOING TO BE FORCED TO REWRITE IT

Hmm... Maybe they wrote it so that people have to login every two weeks or so (for security reasons)?

No, it happens at random times. At least once every 15 minutes.

Well, it's not specifically the site though, I have been logged in to Scratch for well over three years. Never logged out once. *unless I messed something with the cookies* The site works for me on Windows and Ubuntu. What OS do you have, and which broswer and version?

Seriously. You people have got to listen better. IT'S NOT THE BROWSER! The same thing happens on ALL browsers I use, and it's ONLY the Scratch site that does it! I stay logged in to other sites.

Because I was working on an update and it took 20 minutes, and I posted and had to log in again. When I logged in, the post corrupted. I have to start ALL OVER.
If you want to prevent this...
What browser are you using?
If you're using Mozilla Firefox, try this add-on.
If you're using Google Chrome, try this extension.
If you're using Internet Explorer, I can't help you.

An OS is not a browser. Maybe you should listen better, hypocrite.

ScratchReallyROCKS: There are actually some browsers' versions that do mess the log-ins' up. The Operating System ( OS ) is basically the same thing, some mixes may or may not work. It's like a Window's 7 uses Window 95 security software. It just won't work. Same with Firefox, EI, Chrome, or any other browser you use. Some mixes just won't work. Some people may have extensions or add-on for their browsers that do things to the cookies, or change web pages. Like the Ad-Block Plus for Firefox, that may block advertisements, but it may block other programs too. It's like running a Flash Game that requires Adobe Flash Player 10 on Adobe Flash 5.
Blade-Edge: Please do be more... considerate with what you say.

I was talking about the "and which browser and version?" part. Maybe YOU should listen better.
EDIT: and Google Chrome OS is a browser.
