I never knew.....
...learning how to attack people with a stick would be so HARD.
I was at Taekwondo one day, and we were going to practice weapons. So suddenly my master points at me (i'm the lowest rank in that class) and asked me, "WHAT WEAPON ARE YOU GOING TO DO???" I said, "ummmmmmmm..." and tells me to grab a stick out of his office. Of course I grab the stick, what else would i do? So I pick up this plastic, foam-padded stick and get started with everybody else. Then this kid starts to tell me how to hold the stick, and how to swing it and stuff. It is quite tricky.

Are you learning how to use an askreema stick? The askreema stick forms in Karate are tricky, but they look awsome

Have you ever taken martial arts? Swinging a stick mindlessly like a normal person would, would actually get you seriously hurt against someone who knows what they are doing.

You hold it with both hands near the center and do strikes as your instructor tells you to.
