I think that this is an issue. While they claim to be "bullied" I have never once seen somebody actually bully them. Even if there were bullies, they should just be put on the ignore list and ignored. I think that nearly all projects about leaving are publicity stunts. For example, I saw one from a user whose identity will be kept confidential who said that they were being bullied, and if they did not get at least 120 views, 69 love-its, and 2 other of their projects on the front page, that they would then leave Scratch. Of course, 2 days later, with only 30 views and 9 love-its, they posted another project. It was easy to ignore these projects at first, until every time I checked the front page, I would see a project about someone leaving under any of the categories. And yet, I do not know of anybody who has actually left (without making another account). I know there are some people who actually leave, but those who really want to leave do not ask for love-its. If you have made one of these "I'm leaving" projects, please answer me this: Did you HONESTLY ever intend on leaving, or did you just want fame? If you were bullied, who was bullying you, and what did you try and do to stop it? If you were being bullied, why did you not just press the ignore button?
I have received my fair share of rude comments. But what I do does not involve me begging for love-its. I just delete the comment, and move on. I have NEVER received any comments which are mean enough for me to put a user on my ignore list, or to even consider leaving.
Scratch team, what do you think we should do?
People are "leaving"/leaving in large numbers.

Well, I originally was going to quit this account because I thought I wasn't good. But when I POSTED ON THE FORUMS I was leaving, people actually didn't want me too. I realized, I am actually pretty popular (not as you, but I'm fine with how I am now). And I only made that as a test that it's the anime community who's doing this!

People leaving isnt really that big of an issue. Most people who make posts or projects about them leaving just want attention. The number of members on this site is always increasing at an increasing rate.

True, true, but I was trying to say that I was annoyed at how many projects there are about someone leaving or something like that. What is even more annoying is the fact that some of them make it to the front page, and yet they probably are not going to wind up leaving. For example, if I were to make a project saying "I am leaving unless I get X love-its", it would probably make the front page under top viewed and top loved in a matter of days, and if I had really good music or graphical effects, or built a game into it, maybe even top downloaded. I have zero intention of making one of those, since I am not leaving! I am not even going to pretend to leave.

anyway, more people are joining than quitting every day, but still, quitting is bad, even though it is more people joining than quitting every day. And I won't quit either.

Most people who say they are quitting and seem to seriously quit, either actually quit, or made a new account and didnt reveal thier main account. I have not seen once someone actually quit. Berryfeather is getting extremely annoying. She/he posts something about quitting every so often, and right when It gets off of the front page she/he makes another random threat. The point it, or at least for me is, I don't care if she/he leaves or not. This isn't to be mean to him/her, but Im simply saying enough is enough.

If somebody posts bad things about my project I just ask how it can be improved

I agree. I hate it when people make a project with one background with some text that took them 1 minute to make and they get top-loved. When people that have spent hours on quality projects just get ignored, because of the projects saying that the maker is going to leave.

I only like the chain letters about scratch bullying cuz I get to draw on them
Also, one of my friends got bullied before, but he added the user to his ignore list... but he rarely goes on scratch anymore Dx

I think people are misusing the term "bully". I have gotten angry comments from people who wanted to be on the front page (When I took it over.) i don't consider that bullying. I consider it immature kid talking.

Hey! I was being sarcastic! Lol
, and also projects that tell you to do something (basically these) otherwise something happens. That's why I might finish Pokemon. Although itsmyhammie isn't leaving, she basically threatened everyone by saying love-it or I won't be your friend (how I interpret "I will see who cares about me"), wihch is very simialr to leaving projects

Well I think that soon scratch will just crash and burn or end up becoming a chatroom full of gore and cyberbulling unless people stop quitting

Hmm, the ignore button is a great feature, and it's very useful, but it's also good ot hear what the other side(s) have to say, I mean, what if the bully wants to apologize and they don't want to make a new account?
