That would make me biased if that were the only reason.
It is completely illogical.

Yeah, you're doing this for Dazachi too.

I don't think it's unfair, because if you're 14 or older, then you probably have experience with scratch, and you're (usually) wiser and stuff.

I think it should be lowered to 11 and a half-12. I'm not running, so that's proof that this it not so I run, I just think 12 year-olds are mature enough. Well, some of them. Rufflebee, for example, I wouldn't vote for next year
(No offense rufflebee, 1.) You admitted, 2.) It's an example

I think that this IS......
UNFAIR!!!! Seriously, I can handle modding, and I'm only 10!

Let me just say that the decision was not made lightly. And it is unfortunate that we have to let two of our hard-working mods go - at least until they become age-eligible again. We appreciate all the work they have done for the community.
The Scratch Team feels that the new requirements will benefit the moderators and the community in the long run.

You think you handle modding, that is. You can't really just assume that you can.

Yeah, but not the Scratch Forums.
Other places =/= Scratch
A WORSELY MODDED website AKA a chatroom.

I don't think it's unfair. Just that it was announced after many people had their hopes up of becoming a mod which is what I'd say is unfair.

Totally agree. Also, if parent's say okay, then why not?

That decision wasn't made lightly, it was a long time that the Scratch Team was thinking the new set of rules over [if I'm not mistaken, since summer]. It just ended up that the finalization of the rules and the announcement occurred during a time when most people were thinking ahead towards the next election; not unfair, just rather unfortunate.

Very much so.
... So can we stop protesting about the rule? It's getting rather annoying. =

Look people, the rule is in place, there's nothing we can do to change it, so although we're all unhappy (
), life is unfair sometimes. Roll with the punches, is what I say.
