So as you may have seen, I am currently the curator, and will be for the next two weeks. I plan on changing all 3 projects every 2 days for a total of 21 projects. Here I will post my choices and explain why I chose them as they go on the front page so I don't give anything away. If you remember scmb1's curator post, to keep things simple I'll use that same format.

Trig Engine. V1 by platform710
This engine is so well done and very smooth, and trigonometry is obviously not easy, which just compliments how well done this is.
The Juggler 3000 by Sunrise-Moon
This game takes a basic concept of pong, and really expands on it, adding power-ups and a high score variable that updates every time you beat your top score. I absolutely recommend downloading it, as it works much better offline.
Pirates vs. Ninjas by Digimath
The concept of this game is very original; I know I've never seen anything like it before
. The graphics are pretty good, and the gameplay is very fun! The movement is smooth and the whole game seems to have a fun feeling to it.

Germ World by RocksAndFire
This game is a cool twist on a regular platformer, since you get to play as a germ. It may be short, but that doesn't mean it's not well done. Again, download this as it's 20 times better offline.
mutant attack(updated) by andy321
I know that this game is very hard, but don't we all need a challenge from time to time?
I found this game quite a while ago and thought it deserved more views, so that's why it's there. It's also original and sort of addicting.
Battle for the Universe by nielsytime
This space-shooter game is a lot of fun, has addicting music, and the movement is oh so smooth. The graphics are also well-drawn and it's just plain-old fun to play. It's an all-around great project.
Stay tuned to this post and the front page to see which projects I'll curate on Saturday.

well, i read your last speech, don't just say "Cool games without a lot of views." chose a topic for it, like art, games, animations, etc. chose something you enjoy the most. i would say don't choose any more than two, to keep it consistent. i find looking at popular tags helps me chose topics.

You get a notification from the Scratch Team, apparently.

yeah, but first you get a message saying, "Are you still interested in being curator? Please use the contact us page to let us know. Thanks! -Scratch Team" THEN after you contact them, you get an email with a date asking you if that date's OK, and then you email them back if it is. then you just wait until the weekend before your shift and they send you another email (or so i've heard) and then you start your shift.

I don't think it does, because it is not advertising the poster's project, it is keeping a log of their stay as curator.

For the past curator durations, some curators usually create curator threads, usually in Miscellaneous; I think the thread can stay here.

I haven't checked the front page much recently, to be honest.
Maybe I should temporarily half-quit the forums so I can actually work on stuff with Scratch.

yeah, despite the awesomeness of your programing skills, you don't make projects very often.
but remember, the forums are part of scratch too!

That's why I put mine in here, because I saw that's where the other ones have been.
