Scratch

Hi mletreat,
Thank you very much for your nice note.

As a starting point, I looked (of course) for materials that were well-written.  My favorite type is text document with screenshots. 

Here are some of the things I considered in my ratings:
1) Can I go to this page and quickly find the information I am looking for?
Is it well organized and labeled?  Are the labels logical and prominently placed?
Is it easy to figure out what age group this web page is for?

2) Does it cover a unique angle that is not covered elsewhere (or explains it better)?
I included pages for expert programmers, as well as pages for children just starting scratch.

3) I had a bias toward text documentation rather than videos, because it's easy to print out a text page and refer to it.  When watching a video, you have to pause it and write notes down.  (However, I certainly did include video tutorials.)

4) I favored sites that seemed finished, and not, for example, having blank placeholder pages.

5) I looked for sites that covered general scratch topics, versus "using scratch to teach multiplication," etc.

6) I omitted all references to scratch galleries that led you to a long, long list that you then had to wade through.
