Variable layout

I often need to use the "large" or "slider" layout in my Scratch Projects.
Also I like to have them somewhere other than the top left corner of the screen.

This works perfectly even once saved, but if I save the project then reopen it, it has jumped back to the "default" position and layout.

Also, I normally set slider min and max, but it also jumps back to "default" rather annoyingly.

This can be rather annoying as I have a lot of variables in some projects and they normally cover important controls in this area of the screen.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Re: Variable layout

Ah - as long as you save/upload the project with the variables showing, they'll stay how you want them (slider, large readout, position, etc)  smile

Re: Variable layout

Thanks for the quick reply.

What if there are projects that need the variables hidden at the start of the game?

You could show them when uploading/saving, then have them hide when the flag is clicked  smile

This isn't really a trick... but that's really a problem!  big_smile

Re: Variable layout

This is something the scratch team need to get fixed for the next version, its really annoying having to show everything when uploading, it makes the thumbnail look messy.
