Re: Panther development thread

I guess because nothing's really happened recently on Panther. I'll take this oppertunity to announce that some proper work is being done on 1.1 at last!

That's a great header! I'm pretty sure skystar is a girl.

Re: Panther development thread

Glad to announce that nXIII is hard at work on 1.1 at last. He's doing first classiness right now, but won't give a finish date yet. I'll let him post more if he wants. There may be compatiability issues between 1.0 and 1.1... how much would that bother people?

Re: Panther development thread

Alright, I'm working on closures right now, definitely the first (if not only!) step towards first-class blocks. Next on the list is (I believe) a procedure definition hat-like block, then a block which lets you communicate with Squeak.

Re: Panther development thread

Ok, just a message to the team:
I've had to stop using Dropbox due to it messing with my wireless connection, slowing it down and causing it to cut out sometimes.

Re: Panther development thread

Huh? so that's two members of the development team who can't use it? We might have to switch to google docs or something otherwise we're never going to get anything done...

Re: Panther development thread

really? I've been having internet problems but so has the rest of my house and their computers... I can't say I'm having problems. We might have to permenantly switch to a combo of dropbox and email... at least that will let Sperry back in the loop?

I'd be fine with Googledocs, if someone can tell me what it is... Dropbox wasn't designed for what we're doing anyway.

Re: Panther development thread

How exactly do you find the data you receive from a mesh? Also, is there a way to test a mesh project locally?
