Okay. Taking this seriously, it's your choice if you want to date her or not, but it should be okay with her as well. I find 12 a bit young...because I'm not allowed to date until college. (A family rule) So I have no need to worry about getting a boyfriend...but really, it's your choice.

Not quite.. one time I was kissing my (at the time) girlfriend and she had a baseball cap and 'boy clothes' on and from a distance she really looked like a guy, then when I was walking away I saw some old ladies giggling and pointing at me.

EDIT: For some real advise, don't date at 12. It's most of the time for status and more than 90% of couples break up for another girl/boy. It's dumb and you can get... Stuff...

but seriously, like steppenwulf said, don't date at 12. if you do you will be a laughing stalk of the school, and the girl will hate you. i'm 12 too, and i would NEVER confess to the boy i like. if i were you, i'd wait until 8th grade. just be friends until then, and she will love you. then you can start dating. just don't date now, or else you might not have any more friends...especially girl ones.

Really? cause i'm 12 right now, and in 7th grade, i'll be 13 in january, which is still 7th grade...and 14 in january of 8th grade.

Nah, just kidding. Hats do seem to help. Just not dorky ones like that. Baseball caps. And hats aren't allowed in most schools anyway. That's why I take advantage of my outside travel time between classes 

Yeah, in my school, we could only wear hats on "hat week" where we can pay $1 per day to wear our hats.
