Laptops, because they are protable and can hook up to a monitor.

I'd say a desktop. Unless portability is important to you, laptops don't really have any advantages over desktops. Because manufacturers have more space to work with, desktops are generally better cooled (laptops tend to get really hot), better performing, and better priced. Plus, you can customize what you want for monitor/mouse/keyboard/etc, and they're easier to upgrade if you want to.

It depends on your needs really. Buy a laptop if you want to be able to move it around. Buy a tesktop because they are easy to upgrade and their more powerful than their equivalent counter parts in a laptop. (This is because they have more space which makes them cooler and are able to run more efficiently)

I prefer laptops
. Laptops, as others have mentioned, are more portable, which is definitely an advantage. So I can do whatever I want to do, whether it's web surfing or doing Scratch, wherever I want in my house, so I can be comfortable

I am starting to go to the laptops side. Anyone can tell me other wise.

I would suggest a Dell XT2 tablet. They're awesome.
Is that a laptop or desktop. Deal with it from that perspective.

It's a touch screen laptop aka tablet. it's a laptop, with a touchscreen.
But make sure the Dell XT2 tablet has Windows or whatever.

You only really need a desktop if you are going to change or add hardware later on. Or if you want to build a custom computer. I actually don't like laptops at all as I find they are slow.

Laptops = Portable, usually cheaper I think, but I'm not sure tbh. Choose it if you just want it to connect to internet and stuff.
Desktop Comps. = Better performance. Choose it if you want to use it for gaming and other performance demanding tasks.

The Poll is ending today at 2 so vote. It looks like laptops does everything better then a desktop. Anyone begs to differ?
