Just promice me you won't do this: copy the windows or mac layout with the start menu ect, think of your own!
It makes a much better and more interesting OS!

First, make a sprite for each application with at least two costumes. Costume one is what you click and costume 2 is the application itself. like this: <when[ ]clicked><next costume>

Like Daffy22 said, don't copy windows or mac, it is just a bit boring. Also, try adding an app maker, they help too.

Adding IDEs is REALLY hard. An External app developer (like iSyn) is easier though.
