sonic 06 was supposed 2 be sonic adventure 3
in sa2 when shadow died he was supposed 2 stay dead but sega brought him back bcoz he had a huge fanbase

Donkey Kong was a mistranslation, and he was supposed to be called "Monkey Kong"
In Pokemon R/B, you can get Mew by using the Key Card on the truck near the S.S. Anne

Sonic and Snake weren't oringinally in Brawl but the Directer wanted them in the game.
The Pokemon Profs. names are based off trees/plants.

Actually, Birdo's gender isn't known .
Although I think he was originally a boy in Japan, but was made female in the US and since then Nintendo have never confirmed it, and have left plenty of clues that he/she/it could be a male is some games, and a female in others.
