The thing looks like a piece of crud, and I wouldn't be paying higher than $20 for a system you're not even sure is stable enough to play Crysis.
It was released in 1982...of course it can't play Crysis. The hardware and processor isn't even compatible with Windows, given how it predates it, and even if it was it'd probably be superslow.
Surprisingly some groups still use it (not for serious computer stuff or anything, but just to push the limits and see what it's truly capable of doing...much like people try to do with Scratch).

THE XBOX DOESN'T HAVE A SID!
I DUN KNOW WHAT A SID IS

No real need to get so worked up about it. It's just an old hobbyist computer.
Anyway that chiptune was pretty cool I guess (although a bit repetitive, not something I'd really listen to in my spare time either). The C64 had, what, 3 sound channels? Sounds a lot more full considering the limitations.
Also an SID would be the C64's sound chip. It supports 3 channels of sampled sound.

The MOS Technology 6581/8580 SID (Sound Interface Device) is the built-in Programmable Sound Generator chip of Commodore's CBM-II, Commodore 64, Commodore 128 and Commodore MAX Machine home computers. It was one of the first sound chips of its kind to be included in a home computer prior to the digital sound revolution.
Together with the VIC-II graphics chip, the SID was instrumental in making the C64 the best selling computer in history, and is partly credited for initiating the demoscene[citation needed].
The SID has U.S. Patent 4,677,890, which was filed on February 27, 1983, and issued on July 7, 1987. The patent expired on July 7, 2004.
Thank you Wikipedia!

I'm not some outcast nerd like you guys apparently are. I didn't even know what Crysis is, I just heard it referenced earlier.
And, the 8-bit mario theme sounds better than that music in my opinion. (Not quality wise)[/arguement]
Good for you.!

Point is, I am not doing that. I have always wanted one, and I finally got one. Say you wanted a car, and when you get it everyone says "Thats a very obsolete car" and "Don't drive it." How would you feel?
