I don't really like big brands but I hate cheap little brands. I think Globolisation is good but Oligopolies are not which is basicly these two brands. So I don't choose any and I have never brought a shoe from either of these company's.

I don't really care about the differences between these two companies, they're basically the same thing. But Adidas has a cooler logo

In my experience, Nike shoes are better quality, so I choose Nike.

Seems that we have some misconceptions floating around. The company name for Adidas was in fact taken from the founder Adolf Dassler, whose first name was shortened to the nickname Adi. Combined with the first three letters of his surname, Adidas was formed.  smile

And, it seems as though RobotKitty has confused that acronym thing with a song. A song which I can't really go into more detail about, here o_O

The founder named it after his kids, and combined their names. We studied logos last year in art, when we were designing our own

I haven't ever had either's shoe. I guess Adidas 'cause that is the brand of my backpack.  smile

(Yes, I haven't had either brand of shoe. I always get those "Athletic Works" wal-mart brand because my mom refuses to let me get a pair more than $20, except for cleats.)
